Starting off on the right foot...

footTop.jpg (19032 bytes) Of all the places that required hardware to hold the bones in place while I mended, the right foot required the least amount of metal.  Can you believe only two screws!  Compare that to over 70 screws in my head!!
footSide.jpg (21953 bytes) I had an ankle cast on for four weeks which was a real pain.  Once the cast ws removed, you could see and feel the screw tips sticking out from my foot.   And when I walked, I could feel the screws preventing my foot from bending at that joint.  Ow!

When barefoot, I had to walk on the outside of my right foot to avoid forcing my arch to flex.  With sneakers on the problem wasn't that bad.
